PANTHER GIRLS selected in the NSW U18 METROPOLITAN TEAM.

Congratulations to our four (4) Penrith Basketball U18 girls who have been selected to represent NSW at the Australian Junior Basketball Championships in Victoria next month. Pictured from left are Chloe Williams, Caitlyn Martin, Rose Nelson and Jurnee Straker.

The girls have been through a long selection process over the past 6 months including trials, tournaments, development programs and weekly skills and training. To have three girls selected and one named as a reserve is a fantastic achievement for our Association community and a credit to the girls and their families who have supported them through this process.

After the disappointment of 2020 due to the cancellation of all National events in 2020, selection in 2021 has been a fantastic achievement. All girls are valuable members of our Association, playing weekly in our local competitions and our representative program. This will be the third National Championships for Rose however Chloe and Caitlyn are on debut and very excited for the opportunity.

We wish the team every success at the Australian Championships with a special good luck for strong performances from our Panther girls.
